On 10 November 1985 Villa Epecuen was flooded by water for
no apparent reason. Now the water level is declining, yet only one person
returned to this town - 81-year-old Pablo Novak who is now the sole resident of
the town.
Before the floods, the town was big tourist attraction. It had clean, fresh
air, healing lakes, wonderful scenery and welcoming residents. It is all gone
now, but if someone could provide finance to restore the town it may be
possible to return it to its glory.
