The Nissan is working on a new sports car, it should be a
roadster, you should be able to compete with the Mazda MX-5. According to
rumors from abroad the Japanese automaker would have to work for a long time on
this product, which could be based on Nissan’s concept car Esflow and that
could be based on Nissan GT-R.
They also seems that this sports car could be ready in a few years and that the
marketing will begin during 2013. The manufacturer should use a new platform
for this sport roadster: according to rumors, the platform could be the shelf
of the Daimler Group, as a result of a collaboration between the German company
and the Renault-Nissan Group and will be used for the new generation Nissan
370Z. Nissan has partnered with Lotus to develop this model. It is not yet
clear which engines will be present under the hood of the new car.
Also according to reports claim that the automaker is considering the
possibility of an electric motor or possibly a hybrid. Nissan wants to expand
in 6 years its global market share for up to 8% . To achieve these objectives
in the period 2011-2016, the president of Nissan-Renault, Carlos Ghosn, laid
down the lines to follow to grow in all countries of the world, focusing on
technologies to reduce emissions and the production of ZEV.
