A Mitsubishi Lancer Street Racer

 

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, also known as the Lancer Evo is a high-performance sedan manufactured by Mitsubishi Motors. The car was originally intended to be in sale only in japan. But because of the huge demand on the grey import market for this car led the Evolution series to be manufactured on a larger scale in the global market. A four-door, front engine, four-wheel drive sedan is without doubt a very sporty looking car, but this has not stopped Lancer owners from experimenting with the looks of their cars.

This CZ4A Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is modified with the installation of new bumpers (which also reduce the ground clearance gap of the car to give it an race-car like look). Not leaving the performance part of this project out, massive air intakes at front and a new diffuser and double exhausts at the back are also installed. Smaller accessories like aero side mirrors, side skirts, roof fins and a rear spoiler are also added to complete the exterior design. The car is lowered by 10mm and 18 inch wheels covered with Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires are installed to the car replacing the stock Mitsubishi wheels.


The Chinese calligraphic decals and tribal vinyls added to either side of the vehicle give the Lancer Evo a whole new make-over. This is an amazing project depicting a proper street-racer look. The Lancer is one car that can be taken to modification extremes. This car has already seen a lot of success in manufacturer sales globally and now it is earning well deserved success in the automobile modification world.
