An airline has decorated one of its planes as an idiot's
guide to aviation - labelling things like the engines and where the pilot
sits. Kulula Air have covered the surface of their bright green
737 with details about the interior, such as where the black box and radar are
located.
But just in case that was too academic for passengers, the
'Flying 101' livery also includes witty remarks along with the labels. On the nose cone it reads 'radar, antenna, and a really big
dish inside' and the directions pointing to the toilet say 'mile-high
initiation chamber'. Nadine Damen, marketing manager of Kulula, said: "This
branding idea is a result of our 2010 strategy to demystify air travel for our
fans."
