BMW Concept C Super Scooter

BMW has long been known for “sport bikes”. It marketed a cruiser bike for a time to compete against the likes of Harley Davidson, but it left the market when it didn’t catch on. In Europe, it is not uncommon to find business professionals commuting to work in a BMW motorcycle, often outfitted with a plexi-glass surround for rain protection. BMW has unveiled today a new scooter, called simply BMW Concept C.

The BMW Concept C attempts to bring something new to the market of big scooters, the C in its name meaning commuter. The BMW Concept C is a premium segment scooter that will have its global debut at the EICMA show in Milan. Need we go on to mention the aesthetics of this scooter, which is far from a meek Vespa, and more of something from TRON (the blue grooves on the wheels definitely helps with the reference). The tripartite front keeps the bike distinctly BMW; and last but not least, these scooters also feature two LCD monitors in the cockpit which reports all data such as road speed and engine speed, that the rider needs to know.
