Diamonds are the most expensive jewel in the world, and diamonds are the hardest material on Earth, and because of that they are the symbol of endurance one of the most beautiful thing in the world – love. 1. Koh-I-Noor (Unestimated)
This is the one of the largest diamond in the world. It is a main part of the British Crown Jewels, and the Queen Victoria was the only reigning monarch who wears this diamond in her crown. Koh-I-Noor means Mountain of Light in Persian. This diamond is 105 carats.

2. The Sancy Diamond (Unestimated)
The Sancy Diamond is a pale yellow jewel with 55 carats. The name came from its first owner, Seigneur de Sancy. It’s a first diamond cut with symmetrical facets - this diamond is cut by Western standards although it has Indian origin. Nowadays it is located in Louvre Museum in France.

3. The Cullinan Diamond ($400M)
This is the largest rough gem in the world, with 3106 carats. There were nine cuts made from this diamond - the most famous are Cullinan I with 530 carats and Cullinan II with 317 carats. Both of them are part of the crown jewels of the UK.

4. The Hope Diamond ($350M)
The Hope Diamond is the most famous diamond in the world. This deep-blue diamond is 45 carats, and is situated in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington, DC. This gemstone is surrounded with mystical curse, because is believed to bring bad luck and misfortunes.

5. De Beers Centenary Diamond ($100M)
This diamond is also known as the perfect one because it has the highest grade of colorless diamond. It is part of a private collection and it is 275 carats.

6. The Steinmetz Pink ($25M)
The Steinmetz Pink is the greatest pink diamond in the world. It is part of Smithsonian’s The Splendor of Diamonds exhibit.

7. Wittelsbach-Graff Diamond ($16.5M)
This deep-blue diamond is 31 carat in weight. Once it was the highest priced diamond on auction sale.

8. The Heart of Eternity Diamond ($16M)
The Heart of Eternity diamond is a blue diamond with 28 carats. In recent years there were many attempts to stealing it from a private collection.

9. The Moussaieff Red Diamond ($7M)
Also know as the Red Shield Diamond, this is the most famous red diamond in the world. It was made via the trilliant cut.

10. The Allnatt Diamond ($3M)
Named by Major Alfred Ernest Allnatt, this is a vivid yellow diamond with 101 carats.
