Top 10 Songs of 2012

Songs are believed to sooth the nerves down, or help in changing one's mood. These modern music has the ability to do just about anything - motivation, depression, deep thoughts, innovation. There is not a single person on earth who doesn’t listen to songs and there are many singers who sing different types of songs and then there are those singers whose every song is a gem. It reaches to the top in no time and you wish that they keep on releasing such beautiful songs.
Compiled here is a list of Top 10 songs of 2012. Your list might be different from mine but these songs would not be hated by anyone!

PSY – Gangnam Style
With more than 900 million views on Youtube, PSY with his song “Gangnam Style” changed the world. The song didn’t take much time to become viral. The credit goes to video and the gangnam style dance step.

Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe
Carly Rae Jepsen introduced herself with an amazing track “Call Me Maybe”. The chorus of the song was so catchy that every music fan was found to be humming this song. Call Me Maybe stayed at the top of the charts for nearly 5 months. Many didn’t know that Carly had other hit songs before “Call Me Maybe”.

Fun – We Are Young
This is the song which glued to every mind and every tongue. Fun wasn't popular before this single. The song "We Are Young" spread like fire and was aired in many TV shows and in movies as well.

Justin Bieber – Boyfriend
Although many hated him, he always finds his way to the top of the charts. His top songs include "Baby", "One Time" and others and now, "Boyfriend" made it to the top. Bieber-Fever is considered to be never ending by his fans.

Rihanna – Diamonds
As always, Rihanna never stop to disappoint her fans. After many hits like "We Found Love", "Only Girl in the World" etc, Rihanna topped the charts again with "Diamonds". Her voice is something out of this world.

Katy Perry – Part Of Me
Its not really a surprise to see Katy Perry in this list. Whenever she releases a song, it somehow gets  to the top. Her fans consider her every song as beautiful, complete and flawless. They could not be better. "Part Of Me follow the path to the top quickly, which it deserved.

Maroon 5 – Payphone
After their songs "Stereo Hears" and "Moves Like Jagger", Maroon 5 found their way to the top of the charts with the single “Payphone”. Upon releasing the lyrics video on Youtube, the song went viral and even the lyrics video got more than 10 million views.

The Wanted – Glad You Came
The single “Glad You Came” made the band The Wanted popular. The song only took 2 to 3 weeks to reach to the top. With great music and amazing lyrics, fans didn’t take too much time to repeatedly play it.

Taylor Swift – We Are Never Getting Back Together
Taylor Swift is believed to always be making songs on breakups and relationships stories. The thing is that she succeeds every time making such songs with different themes and finds her way to the top. The songs from her album “RED” are also pretty good but the single "We Are Never Getting Back Together" is the best.

Flo Rida – Whistle
Flo Rida always find his songs in the top 10 charts whenever his songs are released. This time he made it to the top with his single “Whistle”. The song stayed at the top for nearly 2 months.
