Police in Maryland say Joshua Shelton killed 70,000 chickens last
weekend when he got wasted and broke into a chicken farm's power control
station.
Somehow the 21-year-old, who was found sprawled in the shed, reeking
of booze and wearing boxers and a T-shirt, managed to flip enough
switches to cut off fans, food and water to multiple chicken houses. Despite the mass killing, his criminal charges related to the incident apparently assume idiocy and not malice,
reports CBS:
The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office said Shelton was charged with burglary, malicious destruction of property and trespassing.
