Perhaps we should bring some of these medieval weapons back, so people can actually win wars. These people did not joke around, that’s for sure. They meant total business when it came to succeeding at a battle. The craftsmanship behind the weapons are beyond violent….we’re thinking there were many psychopaths living during this time. They are the only kind of people that could possibly come up with such gruesome concepts for these things!

Why Has An Unmanned Space Plane Been Circling The Earth For Two Years?

Original source : http://firsttoknow.com

It could be a secret space weapon, or it could be a new way to spy on citizens from miles above the Earth’s surface. That all depends on who you ask about the X-37B, a space plane owned by the US military that has been orbiting the Earth for nearly two years as part of its third mission. The plane is set to land later this week at the Vandenberg Air Force Base, about 130 miles north of Los Angeles. After all this time, very little is known about the X-37B, which has only fueled the conspiracy theories on its possibly sinister purpose. But we won’t add fuel to the fire of wild conspiracy theories. Let’s focus on what we do know about this whole business.

Chicken That Thinks She's A Penguin

This chicken really shows an unusual signature figure on the farmyard. She (named Mumble) has smaller wings than her normal water-going cousins, making her resembling a penguin. She never attempts to fly like other chickens in the coop, instead choosing to waddle from side to side, although she has yet to take a dip in the water.

10 DC Characters Weaker Than Superman Who Could (In Theory) Kill Him

Original source : http://whatculture.com

As I specified in a recent article (about heroic characters who are more powerful than Superman), I’m a huge Superman fan and a huge fan of comics in general, so this is in no way an attempt to sully the character – it is merely another attempt to deal in facts and shed some light on a myth, particularly as the last article of this nature went down very well and it’s generally an interesting topic…
The myth in question is the one about Superman being nigh unkillable – because it simply isn’t true – so I’m going to point out a few characters from DC Comics who, utilising consistent feats of power and/or standard usage of their abilities as actual evidence, could outright kill the man of steel using their standard powers (i.e. without any preparation, outside interference or objects of power/inventions) in the right circumstances, despite the fact that they aren’t actually as powerful as him overall.

Without a doubt, if you were to walk outside and ask someone, anyone on the street: "Would you give 5 years of your life to cure cancer?", they’d invariably say "Of course!" But I have some unfortunate news for you - there is no one disease called “cancer”, and there won’t be just one cure.

Is it Possible to Exploit the Brain Fully?
It is often said that human beings don’t use their brains to full capacity. It is unknown whether this is true or it is an absolute myth. None has yet been able to figure out the mystery behind complete usage of the human brain. Yes, the human brain is like an encyclopaedia that stores information. However, it hasn’t yet been found out as to how much information it can actually store and how much information can it recollect at the right time.

Soyuz and Salyut Docking in Space (Artist’s Rendering).
There exists only one video of what followed Soyuz 11’s violent decompression. In it, we see two men sprawled over white sheets, helpless on the dead grasses of the Kazakh steppe. Their faces are obscured by the sweating, heaving medics huddled over them, performing the kiss of life, frantically trying to save them: but their essences had been sucked out in a silent flash. Their skin is as gray and lifeless as the ground they lay upon. All crewmen were lost.

Shadow Sculpture is the art of creating objects that are not art in themselves - but create art in the form of a shadow when a light is shined upon them. It is an intricate and beautiful art form that requires vision, skill, precision, and creativity. Londoners Tim Noble and Sue Webster take shadow sculpture to an extraordinary new level - creating amazing projected art work, but using ordinary things that would otherwise be considered waste or rubbish.

Richard Gayle will never forget the morning of September 6, 2003. “We started painting the football field for the kids. The phone rang across the field, and I picked it up and a voice on the other line said, ‘Mr. Gayle, this is the Vidalia (Georgia) Sheriff.’ He said, ‘You need to get down here immediately.’ I could tell by the quiver in his voice it had to be serious. And I could just feel the air coming out of my body.”

Have you ever wondered why ‘crash tests’ like the one being conducted above are only done up to a certain speed? I mean, don’t you find it a tad ironic that while modern day cars are able to reach speeds in excess of 200kmh, and full-blown supercars are now capable of speeds that hover around the absolutely ridiculous 400kmh mark, yet crash tests are still carried out only up to around a paltry 60kmh?
