We like to call butter “flavour” ’round these parts. But the most frustrating part about spreading some cold hard flavour on your morning toast is how it just ends up shredding your caramelized slice of bread, and not spreading at all. It’s a first world problem, sure, but it’s one that’s elegantly solved with the above Butter Grater. Just place a cold stick of delicious flavour in there, and watch as your former toast shredder comes out in fluffy filaments, ready for some easy spreading.

Come here for its charming rustic setting, extensive variety of hearty kampung-style lauk and nightly steamboat buffets (Alice Yong)
Sited in a spacious clearing of an old, secluded bungalow behind the landmark Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka building, this Malay restaurant is possibly one of KL’s best kept secrets. Built like a tall, imposing wooden pavilion, the restaurant’s high ceiling is adorned with several crystal chandeliers and swathes of satiny material that lend a touch of sophistication to its rustic surroundings.

Fuel-efficient cars are all too common in today’s modern time, but Boeing decided to make a fuel efficient airplane. In this year’s Dubai Airshow, the company unveiled the 777x, their newest airliner. The defining feature of the aircraft are the folding wings which provide an increased wingspan while in the air and hence greater fuel economy. The wings can then be folded to allow easy landing at conventional airports made for smaller aircraft with smaller wingspans.

The Pontiac Aztek remains the ugliest car in the United States.
Abysmal and horrific are two words that should be used to describe these cars, these are few cars that would leave some of us split between 'wow' or the 'nay' factor. But can they prove a point by being purchase-worthy within the right buying group? We shall see.

Holland is predominantly famous for 2 things, the first is that it’s one of the best places to live in the world (and most liberal), secondly they are the envy of the world when it comes to flowers. They have fields of flowers so famous in fact, that tourists flock to them each year. So it’s not surprising really that Zundert, a country town in the heart of Noord Brabant should be host to what is now the biggest and most impressive flower parade the world has ever seen.

Top secret aircraft, also known as black projects, can be powerful assets to the countries operating them, in this case the United States.  But crashes can have dire consequences both in terms of technology and diplomacy.  Usually when a black aircraft crashes, a cover story is issued and a veil of secrecy shrouds the incident.  But when a jet is still recognisable, cover stories go out the window and technology is left open to exploitation – or simply observation.  Here are five examples of secret aircraft (not all black) that have retained their overall appearances after crashing, though thankfully not all in enemy territory.

Near the end of 1971, D.B. Cooper - probably not his real name - disappeared after hijacking a plane, extorting $200,000 in ransom cash and parachuting to freedom… or death. Four decades later, the FBI has yet to solve the case, and a fanciful new comic book series, The Secret History of D.B. Cooper, hits shelves in March. But this mystery man is hardly the only notable fellow to vanish with nary a trace. Witness this gaggle of gone guys, who just might be playing a funny on all of us.
